Anita Berry

With nearly a decade of experience, Anita brings a background in healthcare, business development and community relations to the firm. Combining her expertise and network of local relationships, she has proven adept at quickly learning client issues and navigating Florida’s political process to bring success on behalf of clients. Her proficiency in business development and community relations has helped to facilitate numerous strategic partnerships with private-sector companies, non-profit organizations and governmental agencies throughout her career. Anita manages our St. Petersburg office.

Anita previously served as the Government and Corporate Relations Manager for Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, after relocating from Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore as part of the hospital integration in 2012. At Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, Anita managed government relations activities at the local, state and federal levels, working to successfully advocate for the hospital’s policy and budgetary agenda. Accordingly, she has an extensive understanding of health care policy and has built relationships at all levels of government throughout the Tampa Bay region.

Anita began her career as a legislative assistant for a mental health organization in Washington, D.C. Born and raised in Maryland, she received her degree in communications from Susquehanna University and holds a Master of Public Administration from Rutgers University. She and her husband, Ben, live in the St. Petersburg area with their two rescue dachshunds.

Anita has served on the Board of PACE Center for Girls Pinellas, as well as on the respective policy committees for the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce, and Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce. She was named a 2019 30-Under-30 Rising Star in Florida Politics.
